BELLEVUE, WA – July 28, 2025 – SilverKite Community Arts® invites the community to gather, create, and celebrate at Meet & Make, a series of four free, intergenerational outdoor arts workshops happening in Highland Park and Ashwood Park throughout August. Thanks to generous support from the Bellevue Community Fund, these joyful pop-up arts workshops are designed to spark creativity and connection for all ages. Each event offers a unique hands-on art project in a relaxed, welcoming park setting. Whether you’re a child, teen, adult, or elder—everyone is invited to participate, no experience necessary. Materials will be provided, and no registration is required—just drop in and make something beautiful!

Workshop Schedule:

Highland Park Workshops: 14224 Bel Red Rd Bellevue, WA 98007

August 5 – Puppets & Pinwheels Pop-Up from 12 – 2pm

Create whimsical wind toys and playful puppets in this fun-for-all-ages kickoff workshop.

August 19 – Poetry Exchange from 12 – 2pm

Share your story through collaborative poetry, wordplay, and creative writing prompts.

Ashwood Park Workshops: 10820 NE 10th St Bellevue, WA 98004

August 13 – Fabric Flora & Twine Trinkets from 12 – 2pm

Craft imaginative nature-inspired keepsakes using fabric, twine, and texture.

August 27 – Beaded Treasures & Charms from 12 – 2pm

Design beaded art and good-luck charms to take home or share with others.
